interesting concept

What's going on?

So I get this email from xanga saying post or we'll delete your account.  What's up with that?  Just because I haven't signed in for two years or whatever.  So mean.  Anyways, I guess if anyone still subscribes to this or is bored enough to read...I'll talk about random stuff.

It took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to start writing this entry.  I couldn't believe it...seriously...5 minutes just to figure it out.

It's another wedding year.  I'm a best man and groomsman this year.  I realized I know all about being a maid of honor but I have no clue how to be a best man.  Besides that, I've been asked to be a setup guy, main point coordinator, wedding cake maker, photographer, and sound guy this year.  I'm relieved no one's asked me to sing this year...kinda stressful haha. 

I went to New York for a week in January.  Had an interesting little adventure in the "secret rooms" of canal st.  Went to Guatemala in February....10 cousins.  10 days.  Crazy and fun.  I love my fam. 

We've continued the "cube decorating" tradition.  So here's a few pics of that...

So as a lot of my friends know, I'm a big American Idol fan.  I won't die if I miss an episode but I keep up and know what's up.  And the question that people keep asking me is "WHY IS SANJAYA STILL IN THE RUNNING?!!?"  There have been many things going his way...the teeny bopper vote, the push from the Howard Stern show, the recent publicity of how bad he is, and of course www.VoteForTheWorst.com. 

So here's my brilliant idea because I'm sick of hearing about Sanjaya.  Regardless of who you think is the best.  Figure out the two worst people of the night (besides Sanjaya) and VOTE LIKE CRAZY!!!!  I'm talking about consta-redial.  Anyone who's actually voted before knows that you get a busy signal half the time anyways.  So dial your number and keep redialing it like mad.

Wow, I guess I've just been stalking people and not letting people stalk me for 3 months heehee.  It's mostly been work work and more work.  Nothing really entertaining.  But things are beginning to be less busy so gimme a call if you wanna do lunch or dinner.

Overlapping Weddings
I don't understand why the laws of time work this way...  Last year, Vivian and Keith's wedding and Tiffanie and Jason's wedding were on the same day.  THIS YEAR, my friend Mellissa's wedding (aka my friend from 1st grade, aka my twin) is in april...along with my friend Tae (who's wedding is in Japan...sooooo wanted to go) but Mellissa beats him out.  BUT, guess what?  I can't goto Mellissa's anymore...why?  Cuz my cuzin LINDA, decides to choose the same freakin weekend.  Gaaaaaaah.  Gaaaaaah I say!!!  And anyone invited to a 777 wedding yet?  I have three to go to...sheesh.

So for Chinese New Year, my mom's side of the family decided to do a "kids cook for parents" day.  It was supposed to be just the saturday thing.  But since I got a Wii, it turned into a "sleepover the night before and not get enough sleep and then wake up early to cook for the parents" day.  I didn't have a camera that day =(  But if you'd like to see pics, you can check out my cousin's site.  http://www.flickr.com/photos/tatertot117/sets/72157594549776075/

Shameless Plug - Conservatory of Flowers (GG Park-SF)
So I've posted briefly about it before but after going to the conservatory of flowers a few more times since then, I'd say as a native or a tourist, you should definately check it out.  For those of you who don't know, it's the big white glass house in Golden Gate Park.  It houses 5 sections, each with its own climate specific to the plant life.  It's an awesome place to practice photography from what I've seen.  There are always tons of people with their SLRs running around (no tripods allowed tho).  It can get pretty hot in there so you might want to dress accordingly.

Not sure how many people use this but this is probably the best photo uploading site I've ever seen.  The upload speeds are lightning fast and their options are just as impressive.  It can be used for blogging and can even help you pick a camera because each picture is tagged with the camera that it was shot with as well as all the info of the picture itself.  Oh, and one more thing...it's EASY (had to put that in for the people that aren't as tech saavy heehee).
